THE THRILL OF THE CHILL

About Us

We find it satisfying to provide our customers with HVAC services because we know how important a properly functioning HVAC system is when it comes to comfort in the heat and humidity as well as the cold temperatures that we experience here in Florida.

We have relatives and friends as well as many customers who suffer from conditions in which it is dangerous for them to become overheated. Heat stroke is a major concern for Florida residents, especially amongst the elderly and the youth. Helping to prevent problems like these are only some of the reasons why we enjoy doing what we do. We try to put ourselves in the consumers’ shoes to better understand their needs and wants.

We at Ken Williams Air Conditioning find it particularly important to follow the rules and regulations of The Florida Building Code. The original set of codes that were implemented statewide during the construction boom of the 1970s became the foundation of The Florida Building Code. Intended to regulate building construction, the codes were majorly amended during the 1990s due to a sequence of natural disasters resulting in devastation. As contractors, we know it is important to comply with the codes to improve building construction overall and to help prevent damage and unneeded loss.

Ken is Chairman of the Building Officials Association of Brevard County Mechanical Committee. We find it very important to educate all local contractors about the importance of complying with building codes when it comes to installing and maintaining HVAC systems. Through communication, commitment and cooperation, local building officials, manufacturers, engineers and contractors continue to improve the standard practices of the HVAC industry in Brevard County. Collectively, we feel it is our responsibility to provide consumers with a dependable HVAC system, installed properly and in compliance with local building code.

Why Choose Us?

Finding a licensed, insured contractor is not hard. Finding one that you can trust is the important part. When a contractor comes into your home, you do not only trust them to provide you with honest, knowledgeable service but you also trust that they will do the job properly, professionally and efficiently.

Any air conditioning contractor can provide a system. The tricky part is finding a contractor you can count on to install your system properly. There are many costly problems that can occur due to improper installation. That is why choosing an experienced company to provide your air conditioning services is so important.

We like to get to know our customers’ needs and wants in order to improve their comfort overall in their home. That is why we look at many different things such as special medical needs, occupancy and any other potential issues that may require additional attention or issues that may affect the performance of the system.

The needs of a restaurant are far different than that of a hospital or an industrial building. Working with residences, daycares, nursing homes, hospitals, schools, restaurants and industrial facilities, we adapt our skills to meet the special needs and requirements for each individual’s needs.
